Waste Minimization:
-More recycle bins have been placed around the school thanks to fundraising and donations.- Please use them for recycled items only.

-Reduce paper –consider alternatives.
-GOOS (good on one side) paper bins have been placed in all labs ,the main office and classrooms.

RECYCLING DEPOT

So, where can you take all those extra bags, used batteries, ink cartridges or cork?

Well, Central has set up its first RECYCLING DEPOT. It is located in the School Library.

The following items will be accepted and will be taken to appropriate spots for recycling.

PLASTIC BAGS
CORK
BATTERIES
PRINTER CARTIRDGES (proceeds go to our local food bank)
CELL PHONES (proceeds go to our local food bank)
EYE GLASSES

THE GREEN CART - HALTON WASTE MANAGEMENT

On April 7th, Halton Waste Management will be start it's green cart program.

They are currently delivering green carts to most residents in Halton. For more details on this program, please visit
